Study Abroad Announcement

Hello friends and family,

If you have not yet heard, I am excited to announce that this summer I will be studying abroad in London, England! I am part of a summer communications program that will last five weeks (June 24-July 26). While abroad, I will be staying in the International Hall at the University of London, located in the Bloomsbury district not too far from the British Museum. I will be taking two classes - Sports Journalism in the UK, taught by Dan Travis, sports journalist and tennis coach; and Arts Journalism in the UK, taught by Christopher Cook, BBC journalist and media lecturer.

Here are just a few of the excursions and events I have to look forward to:

• BBC Prom Number 6 
• Wimbledon 
• Tour of Chelsea Football Club 
• Tour of BBC Television Centre 
• An evening cricket match at The Oval or Lord's 
• Backstage tour of the National Theatre 
• A Strange Interlude at the National Theatre 
• A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe 
• Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe 

I can't wait to spend my summer in London - only 31 more days!
